Budget 2017
IdFM operating budget amounted to €10,085m in 2017. However, fare revenues (that are decided by IdFM but are collected by the operators) have to be deducted (€ 3,814m) to that budget.
Fares 2019
IdFM is responsible for the fare policy. The Ile-de-France region was divided into 5 concentric fare zones up to 31st August 2015 (since 1st July 2011) with full integration between modes (bus, metro, train-RER, light rail and T Zen BRT) as well as operators (RATP, SNCF Transilien, private bus companies).
A major change occurred on 1st September 2015 as weekly, monthly and annual passes as well as passes for students and schoolchildren changed automatically to what is now called “All zone” passes (or “Single” Pass).
However, this new fare policy is not applicable to Day pass which is still calculated on a 5-zone basis.
- Single ticket: €1.90 (on board: €2.00)
- 10 ticket booklet: €14.50
- Day pass (Mobilis): from €7.50 (zones 1-2) up to €17.80 (zones 1-5)

To be noticed: all employees get 50% reimbursement of the price of their monthly passes from their employer (legal obligation).
Pass for students
An annual pass called “Imagine’R is available for students for €350 valid on all the network.
Option for tourists
A pass called “Paris Visit” (1 to 5 days) is available from €12 (zone 1-3/1 day) to €65.80 (zone 1-5/5days)
