New CEO appointed for JUDU in Vilnius

Loreta Levulytė-Staškevičienė has been appointed as the new CEO of JUDU, the public transport and mobility agency of Vilnius, Lithuania’s capital. JUDU is one of the 35 EMTA members.

Loreta Levulytė-Staškevičienė has taken on the role on September 4th 2024, with a vision to drive innovation and sustainable growth in the mobility and transport network in Vilnius. With a solid background in transport management, she previously led the Public Transport Department at JUDU.

“I am delighted to have the opportunity to lead the organisation representing and creating mobility solutions for Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. Together with the team, we will strive to develop the organisation and create success stories for urban mobility. More and more city residents and visitors are choosing sustainable and eco-friendly ways to travel. We will continue to improve the experience of public transport and other sustainable ways of travelling within the city. I believe that my knowledge and international experience in mobility management will support JUDU development and complexed  approach to the urban mobility in social, economic, and environmental aspects”, Loreta Levulytė-Staškevičienė says.

Loreta Levulytė-Staškevičienė has extensive professional experience in transport organisation and management. She holds a Master’s degree and completed doctoral studies at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VILNIUS TECH), where she also worked as a lecturer until 2019. Additionally, she is a Master of Law, graduated from Vilnius University and is currently enhancing her knowledge in business development and sustainability for MBA degree at ISM University. Her leadership and vision will contribute to achieving JUDU’s strategic goals.
